One of the least risky ways to get started with your own business is to start from home. Here you won’t have many of the overhead costs associated with a commercial location and it can be low cost way to build your clientele.

Another low risk option is to begin your business inside of an existing Medi-Spa or Beauty Salon - by renting a room inside their establishment.
Many spas and salons already have the infrastructure for you to get started, as well as existing clientele and walk by traffic. While there will be additional monthly costs, such as rent, it is still less costly than starting a commercial location.

Fear of failure
Every new business owner is worried their business will be a flop. However, by mitigating the risks (home salon or room rental), you will have a very low initial investment, which can help mitigate those fears. We’ve all made unfortunate decisions in our lifetimes that have cost us some money - some of them small and some larger - but, I bet that in each case, we’ve been able to overcome those mistakes.

With business, just break every step down into smaller actions and there is every likelihood you will be successful. Remember that one of the most important aspect of any business is sales. Building your customer base, getting new clients and repeat business as well as referrals. If you focus on this as much as you do on your paint schemes or logo font - you will do very well.
