Hair removal is the second most requested non-invasive beauty treatment in Canada – right behind botox. Offering hair removal services should be a serious consideration when thinking about your new medi-spa. But, did you know that skin rejuvenations services are also highly sought after by both men and women?
One of the most effective ways to really know what your potential new clients love and hate is by creating a simple survey. And I guess you’re thinking right now, ok smarty pants, how do I send out a survey if I don’t have any clients yet…
… the answer is simple, send the survey to each of your family members, relations, friends and colleagues.
Not only will you get a sense of what beauty services and treatments they are interested in, but they should be your source to gain your first new clients. Your family, friends and colleagues are likely to be supportive of your efforts and not may become clients themselves, but more importantly, can introduce your business to their family, friends and colleague making your initial reach greater.
Another source for your survey may be a Facebook Group. If you are serious about starting a beauty salon, spa or medi-spa, then you should join any beauty related groups within your local area. Here you can also post a Facebook survey to members of the group to find out their opinions as well.
I would recommend that you make it as easy as possible to complete your survey and don’t ask too many questions, etc – this will give you the greatest number of responses.
